LifExchange and its partners are always excited when we can share updates and news. Recently Jing Zhang from China went on a tour of Thunderbird Academy High School with our partners at A+ Global. Everyone was excited to learn more about the flight program offered to any student enrolled at the school who would like to get their private pilots license.
The program can be completed in 2 years. Year 1 is ground school. Students must first pass the ground school exam before moving on to flight school. Year 2 is flight school. Students must complete at least 40 hours flying time with a qualified instructor provided by the school.
To complete the course students must pass their flight exam. Instruction in gound school and flight school can be started before 17 but they must be 17 years old to sit the final exam.
